Community first vs business first

Circle calls itself "the complete community platform" (circle.so, checked November 2026). It is built around spaces, discussions, live streams and events, with courses, payments and a website builder added on top. Big creator communities run on it.

WithMe is an all-in-one creator hub: the simplicity of Stan Store with the functionality of Kajabi. It puts courses, memberships, community, coaching calls, landing pages, Instagram Auto DMs and AI agents in one login for creators, experts and coaches. It is not a link-in-bio tool.

Circle starts from the community. Spaces, feeds, member directory, gamification and live rooms are its strongest parts. If your members mainly come to talk to each other, and your brand is the community, Circle is a strong pick.

WithMe starts from what a creator sells. The course, the coaching call, the membership, the landing page and the Instagram Auto DM that sends people to it all sit in one hub. The community is there, but it is one part of the business, not the whole product.

Who should pick which

Pick Circle if the community is the product and members pay mainly to be in it, you want a fully branded iOS and Android app and can budget for Circle Plus, or you need deep community controls like activity scores, member directory and gamification. Pick WithMe if you are a creator, expert or coach who sells courses, coaching and memberships together, you want Instagram Auto DMs and AI agents to bring buyers in, in the same login as checkout, you want 0% commission on your sales (Stripe processing fees still apply), or you want a free migration on the yearly plan, with your old site live until you approve.

What you give up if you move

Circle's spaces, threads and member habits do not move over one to one. Members have to learn a new front door. If the Circle brand or app is why people joined, a move can feel like a step down. Keep Circle live until the WithMe hub is approved.
