Creators, experts and coaches ask whether they still need Mailchimp or Kit (formerly ConvertKit) once the hub, the course and the checkout live in one place. WithMe is an all-in-one creator hub: the simplicity of Stan Store with the functionality of Kajabi, not a link-in-bio page. Email broadcasts and sequences are part of that hub.
The price is $25 per month billed annually (UK £25), with a 14-day trial. WithMe takes 0% commission. Stripe and PayPal fees still apply. More than 8,000 creators use WithMe. Email is on that same plan. There is not a separate email tier on the public price.
What email tools are built into WithMe?
The email screen has five tabs: Delivery, Sequences, Broadcasts, Recipients and Automated Emails. A broadcast is one send. A sequence is a series of emails you write, in order. You choose who they go to.
- Broadcasts can go to all customers, or only to the people on the products and lead captures you select. Products include courses, memberships, communities, digital products, coaching calls and webinars.
- Sequences are ordered emails. Each step, and the start of the sequence, can wait a delay you set in minutes, hours or days.
- A sequence can start after a purchase, after cart abandonment, after a lead capture, after a coaching application, at a scheduled time, or when a new visitor is identified on your storefront (the trigger is labelled After Visitor Identified).
- The Recipients tab shows who entered a sequence. Subject and body can use tokens for your name, the customer's name, their email and the product name. If someone only left an email address, a name token is left blank.
- This page does not describe a template gallery. The email screen is the broadcasts, sequences, recipients and delivery tools above, not a library of pre-built campaign designs.
Importing your list (CSV, including from Kajabi)
On the customers page you upload a CSV and pick the product or lead capture those addresses should join. The file is one column of email addresses. A name column can be used for lead captures. The importer recognises an Email column, including the header on a Kajabi export, and the same kind of header from Mailchimp, Kit and similar files. People added to a lead capture are not emailed by the import. People added to a product can be emailed that they now have access.
Card details and active subscriptions do not move between payment systems. Free migration of courses and the member list is included only with the yearly plan, up to 10 GB, once per creator. Sequences from the old platform are not recreated. You rebuild them in WithMe. This page does not state how long a migration takes. Ask for a check on the switch page.
Drip content with email sequences
Two drips exist, and they are different controls.
- Course drip: a lesson or a chapter can stay locked until a delay, measured in days, after the member starts.
- Email drip: a sequence sends the first email, waits, then sends the next. A purchase, an abandoned checkout, a lead capture, a coaching application, a scheduled time, or an identified visitor on the storefront can start it.
Deliverability: what to set up
Open the Delivery tab and connect a sending domain so the From address is on your domain. Each domain is verified on its own, with the DKIM records WithMe shows you, and the screen gives you the DNS records to copy, including SPF. Verifying yourbrand.com does not verify a subdomain such as email.yourbrand.com. If you do not connect a domain, mail goes out from the platform address. The same tab shows bounce and complaint over 14 days, and you can send a test to yourself.
Each person receives at most one broadcast or timed sequence email from you a day. If they already had one, the rest waits until the next day. Large broadcasts are sent in batches, starting with a small trial batch, and each batch is checked before the next goes out. This page does not state a contact cap or a monthly send quota. Those figures are not a published plan limit. No tool can promise the inbox.
What is not included, and when you would still use a dedicated email tool
Broadcasts and sequences are not a visual pipeline or a branching funnel map. If that map is why you pay for a suite, WithMe does not replace it. There is no template gallery on the email screen. A dedicated email tool can still be the right extra if you need a CRM, a designer template gallery, or branching automations. For courses, memberships, a community and a list in one hub, the built-in broadcasts and sequences are the email tool. You do not have to add Mailchimp to send them.
Cost
WithMe is $25 per month billed annually (UK £25), with a 14-day trial and 0% WithMe commission. Stripe and PayPal fees still apply. One plan covers the hub: courses, coaching bookings, community, digital products, checkout, and this email. Optional AI credits, if you use an AI agent, are purchased separately. They are not required to send email. More than 8,000 creators use WithMe.
Email marketing questions
Does WithMe have email marketing?
Yes. Broadcasts and sequences are in the hub, with a recipients view and a delivery tab for your sending domain. They are on the same plan as the rest of the hub: $25 per month billed annually (UK £25), with a 14-day trial and 0% WithMe commission. Stripe and PayPal fees still apply.
Can I import my email list?
Yes. Upload a CSV on the customers page. An Email column, including a Kajabi export, is recognised. People added to a lead capture are not emailed by the import. Card details and live subscriptions do not move. Free migration of courses and members, up to 10 GB, comes only with the yearly plan.
Can I send automated sequences?
Yes. A sequence is ordered emails with a delay between them, in minutes, hours or days. It can start after a purchase, an abandoned checkout, a lead capture, a coaching application, a scheduled time, or when a new visitor is identified on your storefront.
Do I need Mailchimp as well?
Not for broadcasts and sequences to your customers and lead-capture contacts. Keep a dedicated email tool if you need a visual pipeline builder, a template gallery, or a CRM. WithMe's email is not that builder.
How do I avoid the spam folder?
Connect your own sending domain and add the DKIM and SPF records WithMe shows you, so the From address is on your domain. Watch bounce and complaint on the Delivery tab. Each person gets at most one broadcast or timed sequence email a day, and large broadcasts go out in checked batches. No tool can promise the inbox.
