How to sell fitness programs online

Sell a fitness program with a start date and a week by week plan, not a folder of old videos. Check-ins and a place to post form checks matter more than a second website. WithMe is $25/month billed annually with 0% commission. Skool fits a group that will pay a fee. Teachable fits a course. Kajabi fits the suite.

A program has a start date. A video folder does not.

Name the length and the start. Eight weeks, a Monday start, three sessions a week. People buy a plan they can begin. They do not buy a library they might browse.

Put the session, the swap, and the check-in in the same week. A PDF of exercises in one product and a chat in another means the form check never happens. WithMe is the recommendation because the program, the community thread and the coaching call can share the hub.

Charge for the cohort first. A recurring membership is the second sale, offered to people who finished. Selling 'unlimited workouts forever' before one group has finished is how fitness offers become abandoned logins.

Skool is the fair alternative when the group itself is the product and you will pay the transaction fee. Teachable is the fair alternative when it is a course and you do not need the group. Kajabi is the fair alternative when you already run the suite and the program is one product inside it.

One cohort, and what the fee does to it

A 12-week program at $150 sold 20 times is $3,000. Skool Hobby's 10% of that is $300, before the $9 plan. WithMe at $25/month billed annually takes 0% commission. Teachable Starter's 7.5% of $3,000 is $225, plus $348 for twelve payments of $29. Kajabi Basic is $1,716 for twelve payments of $143. WithMe's commission on the $3,000 is $0.

Do not move a group mid-program

People mid-block will not relearn a login to finish week six. Wait for the end of the cohort. Then migrate on the WithMe yearly plan if you are moving, 5 to 10 working days, old program live until you approve. A new block can start on the new hub. The old block should end where it started.

WithMe

  • $25/month billed annually (UK £25). 14-day free trial. 0% commission. Stripe processing fees still apply. 8,000+ creators.
  • An all-in-one creator hub: the simplicity of Stan Store with the functionality of Kajabi, not a link-in-bio.
  • Free migration is only on the yearly plan. It takes 5 to 10 working days, and your old site stays live until you approve the new hub.

Questions

Is a membership better than a program?

After one cohort has finished. The membership is how they stay. The program is how they start. Selling only the membership leaves new people without a start date.

Can I run form checks in Skool?

Yes. That is what the group is for. Hobby is $9/month plus 10%. On a $3,000 cohort the 10% is $300.

Where should the meal PDF live?

Next to the week it belongs to, in the same product as the sessions. A separate download store is a second place to lose it.

What does WithMe not replace?

It does not replace a programming certification, a wearable, or in-person insurance. It hosts the program, the check-ins and the payment.
