This free scorecard asks 10 yes or no questions about how a follower becomes a buyer on Instagram: your offer, link, comment to DM, page, checkout and follow up. Each yes scores 10. You get a score out of 100 and 3 fixes for your band. It takes about two minutes.
The path from Instagram to a sale is the set of steps between someone seeing your post and someone paying you. They read your bio, tap a link or comment on a post, land on a page and check out. If they do not buy that day, a follow up can bring them back.
A gap at any one step leaks buyers, because the people who reach it have nowhere good to go next. A strong post cannot fix a broken link, and a strong page cannot help someone who never gets the link. This scorecard shows which steps are in place, so you know what to fix first. The 10 steps and what each one checks
You can do every step with other tools. This table shows what each step checks, and where WithMe does and does not cover it.
| Step | What it checks | Can you do it with any tool? | Where WithMe covers it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Clear bio | Your bio says in one line who you help and what they get. | Yes. It is a line of text on Instagram. | Outside WithMe. You write it on Instagram. |
| 2. One named offer | You have one paid offer you can name in a single sentence. | Yes. It is a decision, not a tool. | Not covered. The choice is yours. Once you have made it, you can sell courses, memberships, community or coaching calls on WithMe. |
| 3. One page in your bio | Your bio link goes to one clear page, not a list of many links. | Yes. Any page you can link to will do. | Your WithMe Hub or a landing page. |
| 4. Comment to DM | Someone can comment a keyword and get your link in a DM automatically. | Yes, with a comment to DM tool. By hand you can send the link, but it is not automatic. | Instagram Auto DMs. |
| 5. DM goes to the offer | The DM sends people to a page where they can buy or book, not just your homepage. | Yes. It comes down to which link you send. | Instagram Auto DMs send the link you choose. |
| 6. Sales page on a phone | Your sales page works on a phone and shows the price and what is included. | Yes, if your page tool works on phones. Check it on your own phone. | Landing pages. You still write the price and what is included. |
| 7. One checkout | Buyers can pay on that page in one checkout. | Yes, with any tool that takes payment on the page. | Checkout on your own storefront. |
| 8. Follow up in 48 hours | Someone who looks but does not buy gets a DM or email within 48 hours. | Yes, by hand or with an email tool. | Partly. Email sequences can start after cart abandonment, with a delay you set. Someone who never starts checkout is outside that trigger. |
| 9. Know your numbers | You can say how many people clicked, started checkout and bought last month. | Yes, if your tools report it, or with a simple sheet you keep by hand. | Partly. Insights and analytics track revenue, views and conversions. Check they show the exact counts you want. |
| 10. Customer stories | You have shared a customer result or story in the last 30 days. | Yes. It is a post or a story. | Outside WithMe. Posting on Instagram is your job. |
What each score band means
To score by hand, count your yes answers and multiply by 10. Each question is worth 10, so scores go up in tens. A score is a check of your setup, not a prediction of sales.
0 to 40: Foundation
Some of the basics are missing. People may like your posts but have no clear way to buy. Start with your offer, your link and your checkout.
- Write one line for your bio that says who you help and what they get, then name one paid offer in a single sentence.
- Point your bio link at one page for that offer. Show the price and what is included, and check the page on your own phone.
- Let people pay on that page in one checkout, so a ready buyer has no extra step.
Where WithMe can do it: landing pages and checkout cover the page and payment steps in fixes 2 and 3.
50 to 70: Leaking
The main parts exist, but people drop out between them. Join the steps up so a comment leads to a page, and a look leads to a follow up.
- Set up comment to DM. Pick one keyword for your next post and make sure everyone who comments it gets your link in a DM.
- Send that DM to the page where people can buy or book, not to your homepage.
- Follow up within 48 hours with anyone who looked but did not buy. One short DM or email that answers a common question is enough to start.
Where WithMe can do it: Instagram Auto DMs cover fixes 1 and 2, and email sequences that start after cart abandonment can help with fix 3.
80 to 100: Ready to scale
Most of the path is in place. The work now is to measure it, feed it with proof and test one change at a time.
- Write down clicks, started checkouts and purchases each month, and find the step that loses the most people.
- Share one customer result or story every month, with their permission, and link it to your offer.
- Change one thing at a time, such as the keyword, the page headline or the follow up, and compare the next month.
Where WithMe can do it: insights and analytics track revenue, views and conversions. Optional AI agents can help with landing pages and content. AI credits are purchased separately.

Who should pick which route
Fix it by hand with the tools you already use if...
- You answered no to only one or two questions.
- Your tools already cover your page, your payment and your follow up.
- You sell one simple offer and are happy to run each step yourself.
Put it in one hub like WithMe if...
- Your gaps sit across several steps, and joining separate tools is what holds you back.
- You want comment to DM, landing pages, checkout and email under one login.
- You sell more than one kind of offer, such as courses, memberships, community or coaching calls.
You do not need WithMe to fix any of this. WithMe has the simplicity of Stan Store with the functionality of Kajabi. It is an all-in-one creator hub, not a link-in-bio tool. To weigh it up, read what an all-in-one creator platform is, or compare WithMe vs Stan Store and WithMe vs Kajabi.
FAQ
Is the scorecard free?
Yes. It is free to use, with no email and no sign up.
Do you store my answers?
No. The scorecard runs in your browser. We do not collect or store your answers, and the Reset button clears them.
What is a good score?
A score of 80 to 100 is in the Ready to scale band, which means most of the steps from follower to buyer are in place. It is a check of your setup, not a prediction of sales.
What is comment to DM on Instagram?
Someone comments a keyword on your post and gets a DM with your link automatically. On WithMe this is Instagram Auto DMs: you choose a word, and everyone who comments it gets your message and your link.
Do I need WithMe to use it?
No. The scorecard works whatever tools you use, and you can make the fixes with other tools too.
