Group versus one-to-one coaching
When does group delivery support the outcome your one-to-one clients buy?
A practical decision guide, with no verified findings or benchmark. Calculator values are assumptions, not observed creator results.
Design for shared work
Group delivery fits when participants can learn from shared instruction or peer discussion. Private needs and individual assessment may require dedicated time. Do not assume moving a private programme into a group preserves its promise.
Model occupied seats
Use expected attendees rather than maximum capacity. Include preparation and follow-up in hours. The calculator compares gross revenue per delivery hour for a group session and private sessions, before cancellations, fees and other costs.
Keep capacity distinct from demand
A booking limit shows permitted attendance, not seats filled or outcomes achieved. Review actual booking and attendance data before drawing conclusions. Cohorts should separate group calls, private calls and recurring coaching tiers.
Your assumptions, not research findings
Coaching revenue per delivery hour
Starting values are illustrative arithmetic examples. Enter your own assumptions in a single currency.
Calculation: Group price × attendees ÷ group hours versus private price ÷ private hours.
Expected occupancy is your assumption. Excludes cancellations, fees and costs.
The evidence this question needs

- Coaching tier group size is not represented by the call capacity field; manual service review remains required.
Proposed minimum: 20 independently reviewed businesses per cohort. Sample size does not approve business stage, independence, statistical precision or disclosure safety.
- Source/schema review
- Data freshness
