Launches to existing audiences

How much demand can your existing audience support for this particular launch?

Editorial draft · evidence pending

A practical decision guide, with no verified findings or benchmark. Calculator values are assumptions, not observed creator results.

Use reachable people

Follower count is not a count of people who will see an offer. Start with the audience you can reach on the chosen channel and state whether reach is observed or assumed. Avoid adding overlapping email and social audiences without deduplication.

Bound the launch

Set the opening and closing dates, eligible audience, product and paid-outcome window. Separate existing customers from people buying for the first time. The calculator estimates gross receipts from assumed reach, purchase rate and price.

Read the result with context

Discounts, service changes, seasonality and channel mix can all change outcomes between launches. A recorded launch date is context, not proof that a campaign ran or reached an existing audience. Keep refunds and later renewals visible in the evaluation.

Outside research and guidance

These sources inform the decision framework. They are attributed to their publishers and are not observations of WithMe businesses.

  • Patreon: State of Create in 2025 (source date )

Patreon surveyed creators and fans about changing reach and audience relationships, which helps frame why reachable people matter more than follower counts.

Limit: Patreon’s broad creator and fan survey does not measure a WithMe launch cohort or niche-specific purchase rate.

Your assumptions, not research findings

Existing-audience launch scenario

Starting values are illustrative arithmetic examples. Enter your own assumptions in a single currency.

Calculation: Reach × purchase rate ÷ 100 × price.

Reach and purchase rate are your assumptions. Gross receipts before refunds, fees, costs or tax.

The evidence this question needs

Proposed: independently reviewed established businesses launching to a documented pre-existing audience, with a fourteen-day sales window and thirty-day refund follow-up.

  • Audience size, deduplicated campaign reach and campaign/product mapping are absent from the inspected launch fields.
  • Approved pre-existing-business review, launch dates and settled purchase/refund export; signup age is not business qualification.

Proposed minimum: 20 independently reviewed businesses per cohort. Sample size does not approve business stage, independence, statistical precision or disclosure safety.
