Membership checkout conversion
Which checkout starts become paid memberships within a fixed window?
A practical decision guide, with no verified findings or benchmark. Calculator values are assumptions, not observed creator results.
Define a start before a rate
A checkout start is not a page view and repeated attempts are not necessarily different buyers. Choose unique buyer, creator, tier and interval attempts, with an explicit deduplication window. The recorded start table covers specific flows, not every visitor or anonymous checkout.
Match the paid outcome
Use positive paid records and review refunds, test transactions and trials. Decide whether a trial conversion belongs to its original start and how long to wait. A processed checkout record is not a payment-success flag.
Wait for the outcome window
A cohort started yesterday has not had the same opportunity to convert as last month’s cohort. Only compare equally mature windows. The calculator divides your paid outcomes by your starts; it does not supply an industry benchmark or establish why a rate changed.
Outside research and guidance
These sources inform the decision framework. They are attributed to their publishers and are not observations of WithMe businesses.

Its usability research separates checkout friction from people who are simply browsing or not ready to buy.
Limit: The research concerns general ecommerce carts, not WithMe membership checkout starts. Its abandonment rate is not a membership conversion benchmark.

Checkout conversion scenario
Starting values are illustrative arithmetic examples. Enter your own assumptions in a single currency.
Calculation: Matched paid outcomes ÷ eligible starts × 100.
Use one deduplication rule and a fully mature outcome window. This rate does not identify a cause.
The evidence this question needs
Proposed: unique membership checkout attempts per creator/buyer/tier/interval, with a seven-day paid-outcome window and seven-day cohort maturity.
- Checkout records lack a durable session-to-payment ID and broad product identity; review buyer/tier/duration matching and repeat attempts.
- Settlement reconciliation and trial attribution rules; analytics visit denominators require a separate authorised aggregate export.
Proposed minimum: 20 independently reviewed businesses per cohort. Sample size does not approve business stage, independence, statistical precision or disclosure safety.
- Source/schema review
- Data freshness
- Pending authorised export; no observations analysed
